If I’m hungry, I’d probably answer the North End, thinking about my favorite calamari. If I’m daydreaming of an afternoon of amazing shopping, I’d probably answer Back Bay, thinking about strolling down Newbury Street. However, whenever I’m in Beacon Hill I’m reminded that there is no part of any city more picturesque or historically charming.
If you’re visiting Boston, you should definitely carve out some time to wander the streets of Beacon Hill. The whole area is so photogenic it is as if the 18th century was preserved in a square mile.
