I have been wanting to feature Bennett’s nursery in a post for quite some time. Before starting my blog, I always loved looking at nurseries posted by some of my favorite mommy bloggers, and they truly inspired me in the development of Bennett’s little sanctuary. So I wanted to put our design out there so another mommy-to-be might see something to inspire their own space.
Since we had decided to let Bennett’s gender remain a surprise, his nursery was designed to be gender-neutral, and slowly after he was born, little boy trinkets started to make their way into the room. Not knowing the gender was never a problem when picking out furniture and linens for his room because I was attracted to light, airy neutral colors that would have worked for a little boy or girl!
How cute is this little baseball glove? Bennett gave his daddy a new baseball glove for Father’s Day, and Bennett’s new mini glove was included in the gift.
One of my favorite pieces in his room is this Soundfreaq Sound Spot Wood & White speaker. Bennett loves jamming out in the morning and during his bath, and the sound quality of this little speaker really packs a punch! The wood and white coloring also works great in the space!
This little stuffed bunny is from Anthropologie and was actually the first thing I bought for Bennett after finding out I was pregnant. Seeing that little bunny triggers so many happy memories, and it makes me smile every day!
This white bookshelf is from The Container Store, and the best part about it is there is no assembly required! I’m constantly rotating knick-knacks in and out of display!
This is Bennett’s bath towel that he’s been using since he was born. Seeing him in this towel with his little lamb ears is so insanely adorable. There are a few different animal ears to choose from, but this towel belongs on every registry!
Bennett’s nursery design revolved around this dresser since it was the first piece of furniture that was ordered for the nursery. It is, by far, my favorite piece of furniture I have ever owned.
I have always dreamed of a rocking chair in my baby’s nursery. This chair was not my first choice, but Brian and I decided on it because it was a little more economical than the Pottery Barn chair I had been eyeing. I am so grateful this is the chair we decided to order. It is beautiful and extremely comfortable. As a mother of a little boy that has never been a great sleeper, we have spent hours rocking together in this chair.
I use the larger of these storage baskets for extra toy storage and the smaller as Bennett’s dirty laundry bin. I love that they almost add a Moroccan vibe to the corner of the room.
I have also utilized this basket storage unit underneath the crib for Bennett’s extra linens. Before Bennett was born we made sure to buy two of everything (2 crib sheets, 2 changing pad covers, etc) and I am so glad we did! There were many evenings that we needed to reach underneath the bed for a spare.
I’m obsessed with these animal prints from The Animal Print Shop. It was so hard to choose just these three animals since everything from their Little Darlings collection is beyond adorable.
I also love Bennett’s crib even more than the day we ordered it. It is so beautiful and I literally cried after it was put together. I love the combination of arch and straight lines.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little tour! I have linked as many items in Bennett’s nursery as I could find in case you would like to shop them below! Please leave me a comment if you would like to know where anything is from that isn’t linked! I hope you all have a wonderful day and wonderful rest of your week!
