Lillet Rosé Sparkler (recipe makes 1 cocktail)
Ingredients-
Simple Syrup-
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Cocktail-
1 Tbsp simple syrup
2 oz Lillet Rosé
2 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit juice (I prefer fresh squeezed)
Chilled Champagne
Instructions-
1. To make simple syrup, stir sugar and water in small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Turn off heat then allow to cool to room temperature before using. Simple syrup can be stored in airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 month.
2. To prepare cocktail, add simple syrup Lillet Rosé and grapefruit juice to coupe Champagne glass and stir. Top with chilled Champagne and garnish with edible flowers, grapefruit slice or grapefruit rind. Enjoy!
