While there are so many aspects I love about late spring and summer, being able to throw on an easy breezy dress and call it an outfit is definitely high up on my list. Since I pretty much wear dresses every day in warmer weather, I do have a good number that compose my summer wardrobe. But since my day dresses are worn sweatily lugging Bennett around as well as absorbing food spills and playground dirt, I always make sure they’re budget-friendly and that way I don’t cry when I notice some of Bennett’s orange pouch goop has made it onto my dress.
This striped linen-blend fit & flare dress is one of my favorite low-cost day dresses I have purchased so far this year. You can’t go wrong with blue and white stripes for summertime, and it’s currently ON SALE for under $20! Old Navy is one of my favorite retailers for cute daytime dresses. I can always find something I love in their selection, of styles and they’re always at an amazing price point.
I often go Old Hollywood and throw a scarf in my hair in the summer. I would say the main reason is to emanate Audrey, but mainly it’s because the hair underneath that scarf is a total disaster (regrowth of hair that fell out after Bennett was born has my hair looking all sorts of crazy).
I noticed these scallop ballet flats have been restocked in a good number of sizes. These are absolutely one of the most comfortable pairs of flats I have ever owned, and you should snag them if you’re thinking about it because they won’t be around long!
Thank you guys so much for stopping by! You can shop my look from this post below!
