The thing I love most about living in Brookline, aside from all the amazing restaurants and neighbors’ friendly faces, are the beautiful brownstones lining Beacon Street. I love how the beautiful brick buildings maintain historical integrity to the area and the lush greenery in the summertime gives the entire neighborhood almost a garden quality.
The simplest, most minimalistic outfits also tend to be my favorites. A black pleated skirt is one of those wardrobe essentials that look great in every season. They are extremely versatile and I always make sure to maintain at least one in my wardrobe. I also love a black pleated skirt at a midi length.
On this Sunday afternoon, I just tucked in a silk white button down, threw on some classic black pumps (that are ever so comfortable by the way), tied a scarf around my wrist and I was ready to go. I also wore my favorite red-orange lipstick to help the red in my scarf pop. The finishing touch was a classic Rebecca Minkoff bag, a birthday present from Brian.
I hope you all are enjoying these last few weeks of summer! I thank you so much for stopping by! You can shop my look from this post below!
