Now that I know we’re out of the woods for any surprise end of season snows, I feel I can assuredly pack up my boots and place them in the basement for the season. I’ve been doing some inventory on my Spring and Summer shoe collection and there are definitely some gaps that need to be filled. As a result I’ve been trying to keep my eye out for pretty and versatile, but affordable, warmer weather footwear. I put a lot of wear on my warmer weather shoes since I like to take a lot of strolls with the kids up and down Beacon Street to take advantage of the beautiful temperatures that we’re graced with for only a short time here in Boston. I hope you enjoy this roundup of some of my finds!
The majority of my Spring and Summer shoes are either flats or modest block heels since most of my days are spent holding at least one of my babies. I really like the cognac color of these cutout slides. I have a belt that matches it perfectly and find that this particular shade of neutral pairs well with a variety of summery hues. The crossing band detail on this slide is also exceptionally pretty and these woven slides are perfect for the beach! I like wearing mules (especially in the Spring or if I’m overdue for a pedi which is almost always) and I really love this woven pair in white as well as this pair in beautiful soft gray. Both heeled sandals I included in the collage above are so pretty. I am drawn to this pair because of the scallop detail and this pair for its nude color that is versatile with a variety of ensembles. These white loafers are very lightweight making them a great closed-toe option and, lastly, I always like having a lighter pair of sneakers like this beige option.
