Brookline Reservoir is one of the most beautiful parks in Brookline and it truly exalts its beauty for a few short weeks in Spring when the park is highlighted in pink with its magnificent cherry trees in bloom. The Reservoir was built in 1848 as part of Boston’s first municipal water system but is now used by residents for walking, running, fishing or just reading a good book.
Now that we are finally having days when Boston temperatures are hitting the 60’s and even 70’s, I’m able to start slipping back into some of my favorite Spring dresses. It’s still cool enough to need a little light layering and a light trench coat is always a favorite jacket for the season. You can also see how I styled my trench coat in this post.
It is also refreshing to start bringing out some of my favorite Spring and Summer accessories. I love a softly hued bag for just a hint of color. This bag’s blush color is muted enough to treat it as a neutral and it doesn’t hurt that it seems to match with Brookline’s blossoming trees beautifully.
I hope Spring is blooming wherever you may be. Thank you so much for visiting. I truly appreciate you following along.
