Where I’ve Been and Weekend Sales 6/15/19

 

Happy Weekend Friends! It’s been a little while and I apologize for my radio silence. But I’m back and happy to announce some exciting life changes for the Sopp household over the last few weeks. I honestly couldn’t wait to back here to update all of you on what’s been happening. First off, we moved! We didn’t move too far from Brookline, just a few miles away to Newton (Newtonville), and we have become absolutely infatuated with our new neighborhood. We’re surrounded by great parks and are within walking distance to some favorite shops and restaurants. Brian’s commute to work is also a lot easier giving him about forty minutes of his life back that was previously spent on the subway. We have so much more space and the kids are absolutely loving all the new square footage. Although I loved our Brookline condo I’m so happy to be able to be in a place that affords more room for the kids to run around, gives Brian his own office and gives me a bigger kitchen that more than two people can actually occupy at a time.

Secondly, I am transitioning back to practicing optometry full-time and have been interviewing with different groups in the Boston area. I’m thrilled to tell all of you that I just accepted an offer from Atrius Heath (Harvard Vanguard) and will be starting to see patients at the end of Summer. Atrius Health is a large multi specialty healthcare system with locations all across the Boston area and it is going to be a true privilege to practice there. I plan to still keep this site going and look forward to once again getting back into eye care full throttle.

SAKS FIFTH AVENUE– The Designer Sale! Up to 70% Off thru 6/22! There are so many incredible selections from designer labels marked down! A few favorites include this white ruffled cotton dress and this white Rebecca Taylor textured shift dress (perfect for brides-to-be).

This midi dress comes in a variety of colors and patterns but I’m eyeing it in orange (which is ironically a color I’m almost never drawn to).
