Last Saturday I was fortunate enough to be off work by noon so we could take Bennett down to Boston’s Children’s Museum. The museum has the sweetest exhibit called PlaySpace which is an area designated for 0-3 year olds filled with toys and activities designed to encourage investigation and creativity. Bennett absolutely loves being in this exhibit so I try to take him to the museum as often as possible. And then there’s always fun for Brian and I afterwards as we enjoy dinner at a Seaport restaurant.
I opted for this burgundy floral top which I scored at Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, some ankle length skinny jeans and blush mules for our last weekend’s family date in the Seaport. The top is soft with a perfect loose fit and also has a fun triangle cut-out in the back. I think the pretty jewel-tone color will be lovely for the Fall is well as I see wearing it under a classic trench coat. The blush mules I’m wearing are so unbelievably comfortable! I also got these beauties at the Nordstrom Sale. They’re currently still available in most sizes and UNDER $53!
I’m hoping for one more pass at the Nordstrom Sale to get a few more Summer-Fall transitional pieces before the prices go back up on August 6th. I honestly despise the fact that I’m thinking about Fall and, therefore, the end of summer but these sale prices are just too good to go ignored.
