Last weekend we traveled to Long Island’s North Shore to be guests at my cousin’s stunning wedding at Oheka Castle in Huntington. We left for the wedding a little early so we could stop by one of my favorite villages in Long Island, Cold Spring Harbor. The beautiful town is so postcard worthy and quaint, and I just wanted to spend a few minutes window shopping and prancing around in this AMAZING color-block dress that I was wearing to the wedding.
This navy dress with the fun pop of pink at the hem has the most gorgeous movement I’ve ever experienced in a cocktail dress. The silhouette is so flattering being fitted on top with a built-in bra then having a dramatic high-low skirt that looks stunning on the dance floor. The flowy skirt kept me cool and comfortable during the entire outdoor ceremony and reception.
Since the bottom of my dress was so dramatic I kept my accessories simple with a natural rattan clutch and some cute but simple tan sandals.
This dress is incredibly beautiful for a wedding guest, but would be a hit at any cocktail-attire event. I can’t wait for another opportunity to wear this beauty!
I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July and enjoy this short week! You can shop my look from this post below!
