As I mentioned in Monday’s post, last weekend Brian, Bennett and I attended the wedding of my beautiful cousin, Cataryna. The wedding was at the most incredible venue, Oheka Castle, a chateau-style mansion on Long Island’s North Shore. It was the perfect summer night, and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful overlooking Cold Spring Harbor from the gardens of Long Island’s highest hills.
The bride was so thoughtful and hired some babysitters to care for Bennett and his two cousins during the wedding. She set up the most adorable kids’ corner complete with teepee, a chalkboard, hula hoops, Disney movies and a lot of other fun. Brian and I were able to kick back and really enjoy ourselves at this magnificent event, but the kids looked so adorable dressed in their wedding attire that I couldn’t help but snag these pictures of them at play.
I know I’m biased and think my boy is the sweetest thing in the world, but put this kid in a navy blazer and my heart nearly explodes. He looks like a teensy little Brian.
Bennett’s cousin Stella is the sweetest little girl with the most poised disposition. It’s often relieving to be in her presence and absorb her calmness after being so accustomed to Bennett’s wild, little boy ways. She made the most precious flower girl.
Stella’s older brother James is 3 but has already seemed to appoint himself her protector for life. He is the sweetest big brother, and I love when I get to witness them playing together. I can’t wait until these kids get to reunite again over the Fourth of July Holiday! It’ll be a whole lot of cuteness.
Bennett is wearing a Nautica 4-Piece Blazer Set.
