It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Boston. Most of the tree lighting festivals were celebrated last week and we even had a little snowfall yestrday. The city is now ignited with a magical light of the Holidays and I couldn’t be more overjoyed.
I love stumbling upon clothing companies that are doing something different. eShakti is an online retailer that allows you to customize the clothing you purchase! I absolutely fell in love with the idea because so often I put a dress back on the rack or remove it from my cart because there’s just one thing that’s not quite right. Either the hem doesn’t hit exactly as I would want it to or the sleeves or neckline is not entirely what I had in mind when I set out shopping for my perfect outfit.
When I saw the eShakti Jasmine dress I instantly fell in love with its beautiful deep green color and the A-line silhouette but knew I wanted to make a slight adjustment. I decided to change the standard boat neckline to a split scoop neck. The Jasmine dress was able to be customized by choosing from 5 different neckline options and 8 different sleeve types. It was also available in a bright red color. I used eShakti to customize my Christmas dress but how perfect would this be if you need bridesmaid dresses in the same color but differing slightly with different details? One other amazing feature about eShakti is how they size their garments. There is a very clear size chart to help you choose your size but they also tailor the garment to your height at no additional cost! When I received my dress I was thrilled to find that it seriously fit like a dream.
