Bennett’s first Halloween was so special, and it will forever be imprinted in my memory. I wish I would have been more creative with his costume, but the days leading up to Halloween just sort of ran away from me. I also didn’t realize that his kitty costume came with a giant pink bow haha.. I must say though, he made the most adorable kitty.
Our neighborhood really makes a huge production out of Halloween. They close our street down to cars so kids and families are able trick-or-treat safely! We took Bennett out until around 7:00, then we literally handed out candy to 600 trick-or-treaters when we got home. That number would have been even bigger if we didn’t run out of candy.
I hope you all had a very Happy Halloween!! Brian and I wound the evening down with cocktails and one last Hocus Pocus viewing of the season while picking through Bennett’s candy. We also started discussing what we’re going to be next year. Brian actually agreed not to be a stick in the mud and to dress up!
