Hi Friends! We’re in store for another rainy weekend in Boston but at least we’ll be having fun indoors watching the Derby on Saturday and celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Sunday! We are planning a small birthday celebration for Austyn on Derby Day (she turned 1 on April 25th). Although we sang and gave her a little cake on her actual birthday, I wanted to make her a special (bourbon-free) Kentucky Derby-inspired birthday cake and snap some pictures of her in a cute straw hat and dress.
Brian is completely obsessed with Mexican food so we also plan to enjoy Cinco de Mayo with some tacos and margaritas.
