Striped Peplum Sweater

I have a tendency to be attracted to striped tops and dresses and it’s a pretty serious habit. Every time I have a choice I just can’t shy away from my favorite classic pattern. I have to be careful with stripes in a sweater since sometimes it can give the illusion of being slightly wider in a looser, more boyish fitting sweater and doesn’t suit my type, but this fitted peplum sweater from Banana Republic is so right in so many ways.

First, the lightweight material is so soft but also manages to keep me warm and cozy in these dropping Boston temperatures. It is just the right amount of fit on my upper body but then has the cutest feminine peplum touch at the hips. It’s easy to say this sweater has been worn on repeat the last few weeks. I love it paired with professional black pants for work but also with some skinny jeans on the weekend.
