The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019 is officially LIVE and open to public access! I highlight this sale every year because it is truly a sale that is not to be missed. There is always amazing classic apparel and accessories marked down that will truly complement a minimalist’s wardrobe. However, merchandise in this sale tends to move faster than any other sale I blog about. In fact, I had to redo this collage twice before publication because items I featured kept selling out! If you click on any images above and find they’ve sold out or are only available in a couple of sizes, I deeply apologize. I did try my best to pick my favorites that were also well-stocked.

I selected items that I feel appropriately fit into a capsule wardrobe like this classic white tee, these flattering black leggings, this cardigan and a pair of classic black rain boots. I love the cut of these high waisted crop jeans as well as the wash of these high waisted skinny jeans. Of course as a mom who is always trying to find time to exercise, I make sure to keep a pair of cute sneakers that are in good condition in my closet. And you’ll be shocked to see how much these gorgeous Tory Burch sandals are marked down! They’re a beautiful investment that can be worn from year to year and I believe they’re also available in black. I’m also in need of a new wallet and have been eyeing this one. And, finally, I’ve been saying that I want a few cute matching pieces of luggage forever. Maybe this is my year.
